This is the full programme of events for the Reenascreena Midsummer Extravaganza
Thursday 17th June
- 7pm -- Walk the Reenascreena Trail with local historian Fachtna O'Callaghan (meet at 7pm by the chimney stack in Reenascreena village)
Friday 18th June
- 12:30pm -- Reenascreena National School Children's Sport Day
- 7:30pm -- Road Bowling: celebrating half a century on the highways and byways of West Cork
- 9:30pm -- Mouse Racing: high speed thrills and spills as our thoroughbred racing rodents go head-to-head. Place your bets with our trackside bookies, and don't forget to bid for a winner in our mouse auction! View race card / View poster

Saturday 19th June: The SRO (Standing Room Only) Event -- from 8:30pm
- Drama from the renowned Midas Players: "Two brawls and a pub-fight"... pub theatre at its best.
- Traditional Singing with Ted Fitzpatrick, David Connolly and Tim John O'Donoughue: an exhibition not to be missed!
- Harp Music with Amanda Coakley: a chance to hear our national instrument
- Oration Recital with Con O'Callaghan: hear the words first spoken by Padraig Pearse at the burial of Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa
- Readings, poetry, monologues & stories with PJ Tobin, Reenascreena School Pupils, Calvin Jones and Teddy Coakley: everything from the writings of Kavanagh and Joyce to self-penned verse, sketches and stories.
- Open floor: an invitation to any performer
Sunday 20th June: The Reenascreena Music Marathon -- from 4:30pm
- Main acts include: Colin Crowley, Dead Red, Reenascreena School Pupils, The Collins, The God Fearing Folk, WAZOO Inc. and a selection of buskers, jazzers, fiddlers and folkies.
- 9pm Special feature: Dancing at the Crossroads
- Open floor: a chance for the musically minded to take the stage
