Text Box: Local artist Sara Daly needs people who remember the old Reenascreena Woolen Mill to help her recreate an artistic likeness of the buildings that once graced Reenascreena Cross. If you (or someone you know) can help please come along to the Community Hall and contribute your memories. The end result will be displayed on an information plaque next to the “steeple” in the village.

Text Box: Join the pupils of  Scoil Náisiúnta Ré na Scríne as they unveil an exhibition of the work carried out with Cork County Council sponsored “Artist in Residence” Alison Trim. As well as experiencing the children’s artistic representation of life in the area visitors will also be treated to traditional music performed live by the children.

Text Box: Enjoy a night around the bonfire with an eclectic mix of entertainment emphasising  the spoken  word. Hear famous and not-so-famous passages brought to life by local performers as they bring you poetry, readings, recitations, sketches and much more… music and dancing later!
